iAGMA is the portfolio manager for iA Financial Group and manages assets consisting of general insurance company funds, segregated funds, mutual funds, and managed accounts with a total value of over $110 billion.
Our private equity and infrastructure team is looking for its future portfolio development and management analyst! If you enjoy data analysis and the world of investing, this position is for you!
What you will accomplish with us:
Participate in maintaining and improving management tools by collaborating with internal and external teams to update and/or develop them;
Work closely with various teams (IT, accounting, administration, risk management) to manage and administer investments;
Participate in the management and administration of investments, including producing performance analyses and portfolio construction;
Assist in the management of our allocation policy by monitoring client needs and proposing the appropriate allocation for each client;
Assist in the operationalization of Alternative Funds, in particular by contributing to the required operational follow-ups;
Help with portfolio projection/modeling;
Contribute to the production of quarterly reports, publications, and presentations for clients;
Respond to various internal team questions regarding portfolios;
Participate in market monitoring;
What could accelerate your success in this position
We are looking for someone who:
Has a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field;
Has experience in private equity or any field relevant to the position;
Has communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams;
Advanced knowledge of English, as the person will be required to communicate daily with English-speaking colleagues or partners across Canada by email and telephone;
Proficiency in the Windows environment (Excel, PowerPoint);
Experience in simple project management and data analysis;
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) or analytical tools (e.g., Python, SQL) (an asset);
CFA completed, or registered for exams (an asset);
Graduate degree (an asset).
